How to choose a display ad network
Most sites move through a ladder of networks as they grow. They start on Google AdSense, which has no traffic minimum. Then they move to a managed network once they qualify, and finally to a premium network that brings header bidding, direct advertiser deals and higher RPMs.
- Check your audience. Many networks set a minimum share of traffic from the US, UK, Canada and Australia. A largely international audience points to AdSense, Monumetric or Ezoic rather than Raptive.
- Check your niche. Mediavine, Raptive and SHE Media are strongest in food, lifestyle, home, parenting and travel. Playwire is well known in gaming and entertainment.
- Compare payment terms. Net 65 means you wait more than two months for each payment, which matters for cash flow.
- Estimate the difference. Use the ad network comparison to see what your traffic could earn on each network, and the eligibility checker to see which ones you can apply to today.
